About

Welcome. I’m Sarah, a dreamer with a love for sharing simple ways for us all to connect to our inner calm, to unlock and notice more moments of joy in our lives and to help us all step into our unique wisdom within.

From a young age, the words of Pollyana became our family mantra:

“There is something about everything that you can be glad about, if you keep hunting long enough to find it”  (Eleanor H. Porter)

This unyielding sense of making the best of things became so much a part of me, that I feel this concept of gratitude has perhaps made it into my DNA! So now, when life gives me the inevitable sour taste of lemons at times, I try to sweeten it with gratitude by tapping into the tool of kindness first, kindness to self, kindness to others and the warmth I feel from experiencing kindness from those around me.  Stepping back to tune into kindness from these different perspectives always seems to help me feel that squeeze of serenity.

I discovered mindfulness whilst working as an Occupational Psychologist and witnessed how powerful these techniques could be in our personal development, helping us to build resilience, manage conflict, forge positive relationships, reduce stress and ultimately help us to feel happier, not only in work but in our wider personal life. A dream arose within me to share this with others, and so, Lemonkind Mindfulness was born.

Mindfulness is a way of slowing down, of becoming aware, without judgement, but with gentle compassion towards ourselves. I believe mindfulness and meditation are a beautiful collection of tools to hold ourselves through the light and shade of life, helping us to live a more fulfilled and meaningful life.

Having qualified as a Mindfulness Practitioner, I specialise in sharing holistic wellbeing approaches to both children and adults. Based in the beautiful countryside of Northamptonshire, I offer both in-person and online classes, workshops and presentations.

Thank you for being here,
